I know most of you will walk outside today and the temperature will not entice you to reach beach but strangely enough it is the hottest time of year for all of the swim suit designers as the summer designs were on display at New York Fashion Week and we’ve put together our list for you what we believe will be the hottest swimwear designs this Summer.

The first of our favorites is the Gingham, mainly for its versatility. You can go with both a pattern or a solid and still deliver the ‘wow’ factor. Moreover if you’re a little larger in the thigh this may one of the most flattering styles to fit your figure.

Our next fav is the deep V-Neck swimsuit. Yes, lower necks are not just for evening dresses any more. These may be the top vote getter for the Summer as it has also been seen on the town in both a pattern and solid, and often with a wrap completing a sophisticated but fully functional look, suitable for the beach, hotel pool, or outdoor party.

High waisted bottoms are one of the few retro looks that have come back with some staying power. Among the many reasons pop stars like Gaga busting them in videos and Super Bowl shows, but for the rest of us it provides an hour-glass perception due to the extra material. Moreover you can’t deny that it also provides a certain degree of ‘tummy control’ that isn’t apparent with most other beach styles, and we can all use a little bit of that. Lastly, if you’re on the full figured side, this is a great combination of being you’re most flattering form as well as being the most trendy.
